As much as I may dislike it, I'm going to finish highschool and go to college. My idea of this is to take as much as possible from the "system" and give the least amount as possible back. I am going to be a prominent member of a counter-culture; studying psychology, sociology, anthropology, ecology, and other environmental studies. In doing so, I hope to aquire the knowledge to successfully abandon a civilized lifestyle by either joining or start a community that practices permaculture, or one of the many variations of it. Basically, the college education is to help me formulate and specialize my ideas on permaculture, so i can stirve to become part of a self-sustainable community. what that means is, basically, is that our community/tribe will grow all of our own food and make all of our own goods (or as much as possible) so that we may survive the eventual collapse or extreme regression of civilization.
